It is getting to the business end of the academic year so my to-do list keeps on growing so this little blog space has been a bit neglected. Hopefully I get my creative cooking mo-jo back sometime soon and will have some recipes to share with you.
About 2 years ago I decided it would be fun to buy a toy film camera. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted so I ended up just buying a super cheap one on ebay and some film and had fun with the mystery of what my photos would turn out like.
Anyway, the novelty kinda wore off, so the film was put aside in a drawer and it was only last week when I thought I might get it developed.
It almost made it more exciting that the photos had been taken so long ago that I had no idea what was on the film, and the potential for disappointment if all of the photos were over or under exposed.
$12.90 later, and I have no idea what happened, but about 9 of the 36 photos turned out well, with the rest of the film being blank. When you work out the $/photo it is a bit disappointing (and shows the joys of digital photography), but I love the photos that did turn out.
Look at that moustache…
