Bloggers Breakfast with The Village Markets

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of sharing a breakfast date at Commune with some of the loveliest and most talented Gold Coast bloggers, followed by a spot of shopping at The Village Markets.

Finders Keepers Markets

I was so happy to discover that our visit to Brisbane was coinciding with the Finders Keepers markets.  Held in the Old Museum, it was a wonderful setting and perfect day to discover talented artists and designers, while catching up with some blogging friends.

The wonderful Liss was busy manning the pretty stall for her online store: Stylemilk.  We managed to squeeze in a quick chat and a couple of pics before the stall was overrun by customers.

The Village Markets

Last Sunday we were all fed up with study, so spent the rainy day exploring one of our new locals, The Village Markets.

The Village Markets are my ideal little market, full of reasonably priced vintage and easily browsed in under an hour, the perfect way to spend the first Sunday of every month.

Despite a torrential downpour descending on the Gold Coast for the entire morning the rain stopped for the entire time we were there, allowing me to snap up a couple of bargains, satisfying my shopping urge while sticking to the student budget.  I bought a couple of exciting little things that I can’t wait to post about.
