Felafel Lettuce Wraps

Since the last day of winter almost felt like summer, I was in the mood for something light for lunch.  It is often too easy to continue eating the same old meals regardless of the season, but this year I am planning to make the most of summery foods as soon as the weather is warm enough!

My latest food infatuation is anything wrapped in lettuce.  San Choi Bau and Peanut Noodle Lettuce Wraps have been recent meals at our place, and I have been drooling over the Raw Tacos and Healthy Felafel Wraps on some of my new favourite food blogs.

Hello again little neglected blog…

It sure has been a while, yet I have thought about blogging almost every day.  There are some big changes happening in my life and unfortunately that sometimes means that certain things like taking photos and cooking things that I am excited to share on my blog fall by the wayside, and are replaced by study, social events and ‘setting up house’.

Healthy treats: Strawberry and yoghurt icy poles

Kris and I love our treats, especially during summer when it is so nice to cool down on a hot afternoon with an ice cream or icy pole.

One of my favourite snacks is frozen grapes, which are sweet enough to satisfy that craving and so simple to make, just throw them in a container in the freezer.
